Victory is mine! Sorta.

I had my hearing today. Combined with having an awesome lawyer and not having a criminal record, attempted assault charge was dropped and I was charged with resisting arrest (which I plead guilty to). So 20 hours of community service as opposed to some time in jail. I'm ordered to the soup kitchens! Just in time for the holidays! Awww.

Part of me wonders if I could just portal out of jail and just get some plastic surgery or talk to Jam to give me a new face...

I'm so glad the sins have been captured. You have no idea. ~~I have to get rid of all the stuff I stole~~ Between my stint in jail and my adventure with anonymous sex (Brady, I got an appointment next week, so chill) these sins have damaged my reputation.

Party tomorrow at our house! I will kick all yous in the ass at Mario Kart. And I call dibs on Yoshi.

And Shuro, I owe you lunch. And Lottie, you rock.

I would be interested in opening a discussion about community service. On one hand it does indeed help provide a service to the community, as indicated, but it some cases could it be a danger to the community? And I think it pulls in the question of charitable acts vs the service provided. Community service lacks the charitable nature, but do these services really need a charitable nature in order to be effective?

	Admittedly, it being a charitable act without a good service isn't preferable either. Which leads to the idea that it is the service that is more important than the charitable nature of it. (Reply to this) (Parent)
