You know, Eddie Izzard made a good point in that stand up. Noah's Ark took all the good animals as God flooded the world. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE FISH and other ocean creatures? Clearly, there are still evil fish around. And I was sort of thinking all day about that. Just how creepy the ocean is. It's kind of what happens in there is sort of the opposite of evolution. There are some pretty creepy things in the ocean. And even if they look cute they are complete and utter assholes.

So ocean creatures are pretty annoying and evil. The Bible Says So.

In other news, I fully believe that brinner is under-appreciated by many Americans. If I get married he/she must make me brinner once a week. So I think... tonight will be waffle night. Who wants in?

And now for something completely different:

6 Real Planets that Put Science Fiction to Shame

You know, when I went to school in the country (okay New Haven, CT is not exactly the country but compared to NYC it is), it was crazy to be able to see the stars. But after reading about Amatsu-Mikaboshi the other day in the Catacombs I am thinking the dolphin rule applies to stars too.

Buuut we have Perseus up there. And Orion. And Andromeda so maybe they can't be all that bad.

Nah, I'm going to go dancing tomorrow. Tonight I'm going to try and write at least 1000 words. Let's see how this goes.

[Private to Brady]

Is Ari angry at me or something?

But sure! Gym then you can come over and I will cook you an adorable post-Valentine's meal? ;)

Waffles are dessert. And what's so bad about dolphins?

Why were you reading about Amatsu-Mikaboshi?

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]wingedreporter
2012-02-17 10:11 pm UTC (link)
That sounds somewhat accusatory for text.

Waffles are a breakfast food but that is the beauty of brinner!

Dolphins aren't as cute as they seem and kill for fun... like serial killers.

Because I was curious?

[info]too_easy

Text doesn't sound like anything. It'd be more accurate to say "it reads somewhat accusatory."

You Americans are the only ones who eat dessert for breakfast.

Humankind does that same, but that's no reason to condemn the entire species.

What did you read about him?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]wingedreporter
2012-02-17 10:35 pm UTC (link)
Ari, are you feeling okay? You know what I meant.

Uh, it's a breakfast food in most countries. Why are you hating?

Yeah, but people don't understand that aspect about dolphins.

I read about him because I heard about rumors about him going around.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]too_easy

Did you even read your reference? The only waffle variant specifically listed as a breakfast food is the American waffle. The majority of the other examples are qualified as street vendor fare.

Whatever, just forget it, mate.

[info]wingedreporter
2012-02-17 10:54 pm UTC (link)
There is a lot of vendor food that people buy for breakfast. I have no idea why it even matters if Americans think it is a breakfast food or not. So what?

You're acting kind of weird.

Most fish aren't smart enough to be evil, for them there is food, not-food, and trying to be not-food. The ocean isn't really that creepy. Humans can be cute too, but we all know how much people can be annoying or evil.

Yes! That as well. He is also one of the best when it comes to messing up a joke. A good stand up is a lot about being funny when you have failed to be funny.
